The First Battle of Tarain was fought in 1191 near Tarain (now known as Taraori in Haryana).

It was fought between the Rajput confederacy led by Prithviraj Chauhan and the invading Ghurid army under the command of Muhammad of Ghor.

The Rajputs won the battle decisively, but Shihabuddin escaped and returned to Ghor.

Hence, option (c) is correct.
