Gandhi-Irwin Pact was signed on 5 March 1931 between Mahatma Gandhi and Lord Irwin (Viceroy of India). The pact was signed before the Second Round Table Conference. The result of the pact was that the civil disobedience movement was stopped by INC and it agreed to participate in the Second Round Table Conference. Also, the prisoners arrested during the Civil disobedience movement were released and the people living near sea cost were allowed to collect and manufacture salt. 

Hence, option (D) is correct.
