Vitamin K is effective in blood clotting. It prevents excessive bleeding. It helps to make proteins required for blood clotting and the building of bones. Vitamin K includes two natural vitamers: vitamin K1 (phylloquinone) and vitamin K2 (menaquinone). Some sources of Vitamin K are spinach, asparagus, broccoli, soybean, eggs, meats, strawberries, etc. 

The deficiency of Vitamin A causes night blindness. The deficiency of Vitamin B causes Beri-Beri. The deficiency of Vitamin D causes scurvy.
