According to a survey conducted by the Peoples’ Linguistic Survey of India (PLSI), 8 languages (out of 50) spoken in Karnataka are potentially endangered and 2 are critically endangered. 

Siddi language spoken by the Siddi tribe of Uttara Kannada district and Hakki Pikki have been identified as "critically endangered". 

Potentially endangered implies the language spoken by less than 10000 people. Critically endangered language implies the language not spoken by the younger generation of a particular community.

Hence, option (C) is correct.
